SES and Afterschool Programs

ASCEND is directed by working educators with years of practical experience in administering quality instruction and Supplemental Educational Services. The ASCEND Systems approach incorporates a research-based curriculum, best practices in teaching, and a partnership with parents and schools to accelerate student learning and promote academic improvement. ASCEND offers SES Reading and Math tutoring for Grades K-8 in selected districts.

Tutoring and Literacy Programs

Students referred from the Department of Child Services and other Social Service Agencies often face additional obstacles to success. ASCEND tutors are trained to deal with every student, and are prepared to handle those students who are falling behind or not up to grade level, those with various learning disabilities, and those who may not have experienced success at school. Services available for students in Grades K-12.

Private Pay Options

Parents seeking remedial help for children or a jump start on a new school year can contract with ASCEND for comprehensive student assessments and individualized, targeted instruction designed to bring students up to grade level in virtually any subject area K-12. ASCEND's research-based curriculum, best practices methodology, and one-to-one approach make our plan competitive with any other tutoring program. We take special care in providing the best possible match between tutor and student.
